this may be off subject, but maybe not, still has to do with phones and threads. it is amazing how many people will check out a thread and not chime in or say anything or comment!!!! some threads have like 300 views and 3 comments. people should not be afraid to chime in, we don't bite, really we don't!!!!:D:D:D

that is cool, just alot of people will look and then when a few chime in then all of a sudden everyone wants to be involved.
 
It's probably because lurkers outnumber posters by 3 to 1, maybe 4 to 1. That's just a guess of course. Not that there's anything wrong with that. We were all lurkers at first. I lurked for a few days till some obscure reference about Eproms led me to post (Of topic I might add) in a thread.

It's probably good that not everyone comments on every post. With 10568 active users (as of this post) browsing the forums daily, posts would jump to pages and pages of information. Some good, some not (like my posts :)).

PS- I almost exited this thread without commenting, but your subject just compelled me.

Lol, if I have something to say I will, I tend to read a lot of thread I care nothing about because I get bored...or whatever I have to say has already been stated...

As Doit2it said there are plenty of hits by people who don't have accounts that affect the view count. Also for new threads they may get checked and the person who checks can't help so a post of "Man that sucks you bricked your phone...too bad I don't know how to help you..." isn't really needed :p this often could be due to a vague thread title.

We are watching you, be afraid, be very afraid. I read so many posts on a daily basis, I don't have enough time to comment on every single one. :p
 
Some of us don't post just to post or pad numbers. If someone helps me, they get thanked. Some of the posts look like padding - ie: LOL, etcl.
 
sometimes its because of the.. title of the thread..

wrong or not enough info in the title... i click to find out i am not interested.
or someone has made the statement that I would have.
or the statement i would make would get me into more trouble with the mods..
