Help Wrong contact picture on my text messages

When I text, my contact image is replaced with the first person in my contact list. Running namibia 1.3.1, stock sms. The sim card recognizes the direct phone number. Any ideas?

What phone? The Optimus V doesn't have a sim card.

Sorry, optimus v is correct. I meant that the number displayed correctly in the about phone menu. Any guesses?

No idea what namibia 1.3.1 is. I can't find it on the Android Market, or even Google for that matter.
