Help Wrong ip address

Hi,
When I bring my A500 out of sleep mode, quite often the wifi goes to a 169 ip address of my router. I need to turn off and then turn on wifi again and then it finds a normal 192 ip address and I can access the Internet. I have my wifi settings set to Never disconnect from wifi but it still does this. Not sure if this is A500 issue or a router configuration issue. Any ideas on how to force it to always connect to a 192 ip address instead of a useless 169 one would be appreciated.

Thanks,

John

I had this issue on my Desire HD and Wildfire S. You can set up a static IP address by accessing the advanced settings in the WiFi menu, that should resolve it.
