Help WTF...Phone turning itself on??

I have a problem...the phone seems to be turning itself on without my help. What could cause this and how does one stop it??

Do you have a case on the phone? The case may be bumping the power button.

May be one of your Wake Up gestures triggered? Check if it still happens when you turn them off.

I don't use wake up gestures. I do have a new wallet...I'll experiment a bit with that.

Magnet, exactly what I was going to say. Does the new wallet have a magnet in it?
Or do you have any NFC enabled credit cards or security entry work badges?
