Help X running very slow

My DX is running very slow and locking up all together when I do almost anything with it. tried pulling the battery tried a new one. Installed ACcleaner and ran it. Nothing seems to be helping any ideas?
 
Are you getting 1X signal and trying to download/run something in the background? If so, that's why. Try switching to wi-fi, let it do its thing for a few minutes and see if they issue is resolved. Anything like opening gmail, email, gallery, etc can ping google's servers and slow you down over a slow connection until the systems are in sync.
 
It seems to do it regardless of signal strength it will slow or lock up sometimes even just navigating the phone menus. The weird thing is it comes and goes although if does happen a lot
 
Try this and see if it helps: go into privacy options and turn off both backup options. Also, are you running any data feed widgets on your homescreen that 'might' be data hogs?
 
I never got my DX to zip along until I rooted and started using AutoKiller. Now, it runs smoother than a baby's butt. :) Are you rooted? If not, would you like to know more about it? (I sound like a drug dealer. ;))
