I just bought the samsung fascinate last night and am already having trouble with it. I'm thinking of going with the droid x but what id like to know is if you can play movies from it to the tv or just recordings youve made?
 
Yes you can! And in high definition too. I purchased the cable off of ebay to do it. It's the mini hdmi to hdmi cable. The cable stays plugged into my 50" plasma and just plug the X onto the cable when I want to view something on the tv. You will love the X! Also, if you have a DLNA capable tv you can view movies and pics on the tv wireless. Don't know if the fascinate is DLNA capable, but you can transfer media to any DLNA device including other phones.
