Welcome to AF, @memedude :).

Can we bump threads on this internet forum

Please right back it feels like I'm tossing a bottle in the ocean waiting for a response guys I'm lonely and have crippling depression

Yeah, bumping is a bit of bad form, especially given your first post was made only 16 minutes ago ;) :) [I've merged your two subsequent ones].

Folks will read and figure-out if they have anything to contribute...there's no rushing things, unfortunately as people either see and have feedback or they don't.

I have the LG Power, I guess it's pretty old but hey 30 dollars on ebay is 30 dollars on ebay. It's got 5.0.1, and everything seems to be working smoothly, I got a lil snes emulator to play some earthbound but touch control is literal donkey butt. I tried downloading the wiimotecontroller apk but it crashes every time I try to sync the two together. I've tried BluezIME but it says that "this format is not supported" can any of you dudes help me on this? my phone isn't rooted yet either but I'll do it if I have to

I would guess that the Wiimotecontroller app isn't compatible with Lollipop 5.0.1. I don't think this app hasn't been updated or supported in 2-3 years. And it's probably only the original devs who could possibly fix and update it. Perhaps they all got iPhones now? Or someone else writes another Wiimote support app for Android that is compatible with 5.x, 6.x etc.

The Wiimote with Android how-tos I've seen are about 3 years old as well, made for 4.x versions, and again haven't been updated. Like this one from January 2013.

Hey buddy welcome to the forums :D

Well I haven't been able to find an application for the wiimote and I'm on 5.1.1

:/

I am not too sure how to do it sorry ... there are some similar applications but nothing that seems to be exactly what you are looking... and some of the applications require you to do some coding to get it to work.

Ahh wait a second there is an application that is available but you have to pay money to get it :D

It's called "BluePad Pro" - don't be alarmed it's not 12 Dollars - my currency is in South African Rands - I have no idea how much it will cost where you are.

It looks like it will work but I don't promise anything :D

"Proceed at your own risk!" :D:D:D

Doesn't the emulator not have capability to handle a controller? I don't do SNES emu, just PSXE, and the app has the capability to interface with a physical controller.

It sucks it sucks it sucks!!!!! I want to play EarthBound with my Nintendo Wii Remote on my LG Power.

Maybe if you'd wait and be a little bit paitent maybe someone could work on a port for 5.1+. I'd like to play with my wiimote too, but I've been waiting for a while. It'd be easier to just buy a bluetooth controller.
