X10 Android 2.1 menu issue

This wouldn't be problem for anybody, but it drives me insane. In the default OS (1.6) we were just dragging the bar to open the menu screen but in 2.1 version we just push the menu button. I didn't like this and if this hasn't got any solution, I'm thinking about downgrading the machine to 1.6. Please help me, is there any way to make that menu opened like 1.6??

This also drove me crazy when i upgraded lol, but I got used to it lol

There is no way of changing this in 2.1

The better battery useage alone with 2.1 should far override that annoyance in my opinion but to each their own
