X10 Wallpaper question

[zafonic]

I very much like the pre-installed wallpapers on the X10. I have a HTC Desire, and was wondering if its possible to somehow get these on my phone at all??

Also, does anyone know if the new Sony Ericsson Arc will have the sane wallpapers as the X10 at all, as I am seriously thinking of getting the Arc.

Thanks.

Wallpapers are located in...

/etc/customization/content/com/sonyericsson/android/wallpaperchooser/wallpaper

Hope that helps

Note: You need to be rooted to access this folder

[KTP]

You can put any wallpaper on it that you like if you havr the image or download it

I am not rooted and am reluctant to do so. I dont have the images of the wallpapers that i like from the X10. Is there anyway i can get the images and then put them onto my Desire??

Thanks

You have to be rooted and get a file manager program to copy them.... or ask that someone who is rooted extract them for you and send them to you.

I would have done it for you, but I have FreeX10 2.2 ROM so I do not have the default X10 wallpapers

I have just extracted the 15 standard X10i, 2.1 wallpapers.
Each is 960x854, and each has a thumbnail view version at 160x142.
I have compressed to a .rar file..
If you want them, fire me an email at clintyoung76@gmail.com and i'll email em to you.
File size is 6.31mb.

email sent to the 2 who emailed me..
Not sure the hotmail addy can take the 6.3mb though..

Here they are....thanks to clint emailing them to me

The five across the bottom there, are also used for background colour themes for Timescape.

One thing i'd never found since having my X10i, back in May..

Well when I seen this thread, I went into root explorer and looked for them...after 2-3 minutes I found that directory
