Help X10i/X10a update compatibility?

Is it possible to debrand an X10a and use the 2.1 update for the x10i? I don't wanna wait another month for 2.1....lol
 
I don't understand...I've heard nothing about X10i and X10a update being rolled out at different date
 
Oh, for some reason I thought the European phones were mainly x10i, and that x10a was just north america.... and the dates were different. haha.
 
As far as I am aware, the update rolls out the same date for UK and USA, unsure about other countries

What country are you in?

Carrier? I'm going to jump the gun and guess its Rogers?

Anyway, as far as I am aware, no carrier in Canada have announced when they release it.

I would suggest that you debrand your phone...


  1. Follow steps 1-5 HERE
  2. Update using SUES
That will debrand your phone, giving you access to the update as soon as it is released by SE :)

You may come across some errors, but there are fixes that are explained in the post on the link I gave you :)
