X2 and Winamp?

OK, so I downloaded Winamp the other night and am using it today.
After a couple songs it shuts down.

It's not in my auto end list. I double checked.
I looked at the built in task manager and it was listed as not running.

I'm wondering if my meeting reminders are causing it to close.

Then all of a sudden in my notifications bar, the winamp icon pops up, I click the notification and it brings win amp up with the song I was last listening to in the queue position.

Odd.. I know there are issues with X2 and music skips.
I'm not hearing any pops, does anyone else have this issue with winamp?

What is the favored music player?

I'm wondering if the D3 is having this issue.

Is it something gingerbread corrects that it might be worth hanging onto my x2 for or should I try to exchange for the d3 because d3 is not doing this at all.

Today is my last day on the 14 day period and this is the only issue I've had.
I've been able to side load PDANet no issue.
Music doesn't pop, it's just stopping.
Only one or two random reboots I think were caused by an update.

I use mixzing basic for music and have no problems.

I took the x2 to the store and they were able to recreate it over and over with the phone set to factory specs.
They said it shouldn't be doing that.
They are supposed to replace it with a d3 today.
