Root XDA Pimp my Rom Mod

This was just what i needed, I've been lagging ever since i installed this rom and just have been too lazy to tweak it, It's much faster now. everything is so smooth :).
 
I seam to be having a problem with Gallery doesnt show any pictures of videos you having this problem too? could be a setting i clicked.
 
I hope this helps you but don't be surprised if it doesn't...many of these tweaks are in the build.prop already from either myself or the original author. You may see some benefits from the database and zipalign scripts as those are not part of the ROM. I'm always cautious of someone claiming to enable something that is already enabled by default...If you want a solid program with all these features with better and more options, download ROM toolbox
 
I think i found my problem and had not much to do with the mod ran out of sd card space doing backup and was making problems. So now I am running it and its working great really does seam faster with less lag.

know alot of this stuff is in other mods, but I have never found so many options from a single program. I think alot of them need to know more then what I do to do right lol But I know alot of things you can or arlready are activated in other programs or in the rom But Really it does seam faster, but many of the settings could cause problems so be careful for how you use this!

Nothing wrong with trying it out, just nandroid backup. I have been running AOSenseP with the stock kernel and the only time I get lag is on occasion with the keyboard when using the browser. Does this have any effect on that?

Also womndering when you guys are getting lag?

Hmm maybe its was that then, What I did to get it working was i cleared my memory card (been wanting to do it for a while) reformatted it and copied stuff back onto it that i wanted like ringtones and pictures. After that it worked.


As for lag no real big one time but just constantly here and their a little lag, for like opening app drawer, a few menus, and some here and their nothing major. It just looks faster for almost everything. I do run without any animations at all and I noticed that some animations can hide slight lag, but for me I like none.... at leas this week lol.

I am running AOSenseP BTW.

Also I should note even the slowest of lag is alot faster then on Sense!

Nice, So far I would say i noticed improvment right away, I have done alot of other things befor to improve speed but this has alot more then anyhting I have done maybe they are fluff or just not doing anyhting, but I do have a feel of improved response and reduce wait times, and great after getting the gallery working(was really annoying without gallery)
