XE or Xperia s or One S

Hi Guys, I'm currently running my Desire and looking at upgrade, I love the look of the XE and contemplating this, one s or new Sony. However the Sony I have played with has made me feel a bit meh about it, obviously haven't had a chance to play with One S, but is it much of an upgrade on the XE (apart from processor)?

Either the HTC One X or the Sensation. Although, I would be inclined to go for the One X, it being the newer model.

The Xperia S is great! I have had it 2 weeks now and I am very satisfied all round. A wonderful screen, lovely design and build is good too. This phone runs like lightening too.

I'm out on the Xperia S to be honest, the Battery life from what I have seen is extremely poor, great screen and camera but camera isn't important to me, so its a shootout between the One S and XE, XL is too big, especially coming from a Desire.
