Help xe restarts a putoff

Hi all I had my mind made up i was upgrading my wildfire to the sensation xe then i started reading about the the restarts on this forum and it has put me off abit. My wildfire has been as solid as a rock for the year i have had it. Its just abit of rearsurence i think i need that the XE is still one of the best phones out there i think i need. I was waiting for HTCs new phones but now they are here i dont like them much as i need to carry a spare battery and the htc one s v cant be changed. Any words of wisdom would be a help.

I've had the phone a couple of months now and it very rarely reboots/restarts and I have never had to battery pull. I'm assuming these problems are due to defective apps or defective ROMs from certain carriers, I come to this conclusion as mine is unbranded.

Mine crashes quite a lot, most frequently when pressing the home button to get out of a game quickly. It doesn't bother me, sometimes it goes to the white HTC screen then back to the home view like it does when you boot up, sometimes apps just vanish and go back to the homescreen, but the app is still where you left off when you load it up again so you can just carry on. It's a minor annoyance which I prefer wasn't there, but I wouldn't shun the phone because of it.
