Help XEJC5 is Out!!!

Depends if you're Russian or not, I expect.
:D

How do you backup before installing, I'm fed up re-installing everything and loosing my SMS msgs each time I upgrade.
There are a many good apps that can be used to backup data on the mobile. One that i use is "Sprite backup". this is extremely good as it lets you choose the things like (App settings, Bookmarks, Calender, Call log, Contacts, MMS, SMS, Photos, System settings, etc.) tat u want to backup.

Hope this helps !!

no news and no updates until they do all their testing and release a final 1.6 build god knows when or have them "leak" incremental internal builds every week or two? I'd certainly go with the later, although it'd be nice to have a changelog.
Yeah, having internal builds released every week is great. This atleast gives an indication that samsung is trying to fix the bugs, but as you say a changelog would really be helpful :)

Whatever wasn't working with my messaging and contacts, it works not on C5. I click in the 'to' box, start typing the first name of a contact and their number appears. wasn't working on C4. Don't know if I was the only one with this, but am pleased that it is working now.
Other than that, I don't see any differences with previous releases. Unlock is similar. Menus are a little bit sluggish. Same old same old.

**After a few days, it is getting progressively more sluggish. I click 'settings' and get black for a full 4 count before text appears...

I am frequently killing all running processes and still get patchy performance. Unlock button is very snappy one time, then slow and unresponsive the other that it takes 5 or so seconds to unlock the phone. Same goes with opening Settings or anything else...
