Help xfinity tv app

I have the huawei ascend and i was wondering if there is someway to get the app where you can change the channels from a phone. When i downloaded it and opened it, it said my phone didnt have enough memory to run it. I read somewhere it requires 16 mb of memory or something. I dont know if it matters but when i kill all apps, it says i have 110 mb of mem avalible.

I know its not my cable box or anything, my brother has it on his high end phone, and it works.

My phone is rooted so is there a way to overclock it or something like that? I am no superuser, so i would need an explanation

The reason it matters so much is because my remote hasent been workin right lately...

I just tried to install it and it gave me the same problem. I was reading the (fine print) and it said that it needs a phone that allows more than the 16mb of memory that is allowed and it says that the htc aria doesn't work so unless theres an app that allows for more memory I think were screwed. I have set cpu but that doesnt tweak the memory just the cpu.

Same here, i was eager to use since my friend has it on his phone (not Huawei ascend)... when i tried to use it stated i didnt have enough memory, i needed 16 MB of storage. I went to settings and clicked on SD card & Phone storage settings...

I have:
1.71 GB on my SD card
18.85 MB in my internal SD Card
71.73 MB Available Space storage.

So im wondering why cant i use this app...

So it's just a hardware problem? I guess the 16 mb refers to the RAM or the processor or something. I don't know a lot about that stuff.

so there is no hope for my phone running this app? Is there a link online of a "modified version" of this apk?

I mean this phone was supposed to be too slow to run angry birds but I found a link online, and it still somewhat worked...

I would just use my iPod touch for this but it's a first gen, which apple won't allow you to download the app,for some weird reason. it's jailbroken, but I can't find anything about getting the app.

So I guess I'm screwed both ways.
