I flashed XJ MIUI from here:
[ROM][MIUI] 1.6.3 GB 2.3.4 + OTA + CM + System Updater -XJ- D2EXT X-Part-A2SD+-D2W - xda-developers
onto my Desire today. This was about 3 o'clock this afternoon. It's now 9 o'clock and I just got a text from 88888 saying "Reply OK to confirm your phone NOW. If you've received this by mistake, please ignore."
I also got 3 texts from a contact called Chilli (I haven't added this to my phone and it isn't in my contacts).
It says "[Free Msg.] Your unique payment code is 0491. Please enter this code on the Payforit website to complete your payment."
Any idea if it is possible that the sending of these texts to my phone and the installation of MIUI could be linked? And if so is it possible that I've been charged? I'm on contract with Vodafone and I know that Jamster charges
