Bought a 3g xoom a few months ago and was doing pretty good. Later on I unlocked and rooted it. A bit later I reset the device and sent it in for the 4g upgrade. Before the upgrade I needed to charge the battery every other day. After the upgrade its charge almost every day. Most times I am on wifi and my device is sleeping the screen is off.
Since the upgrade I have seen the message no internet connection a few times, usually after a reboot or power up. I have resorted to turning my xoom off when I take it to work. Almost pointless to have it with me at work now... more often like this morning I run into a bigger more annoying issue. Last night after playing with my xoom checking this forum I will just press the home button and put the device to sleep. This morning I loaded up the browser and it did nothing. Toggled wifi and that did nothing. Rebooted my xoom and finally was able to browse. This happens a lot where I need to reboot. Very annoying if I am following a very active thread at work such as the nexus prime thread.
Now I am rooted 3.2.2 with the universal method.
I do have other issues but those are just my nit picks. Cache cleaner ng don't work keeps telling me my SD card and internal memory is the same down to the kilobyte nothing cleaned. Worked before maybe is a 3.2.2 issue.
I'm stuck on a contract and these issues are really getting to me especially the internet issue. Happens even on wifi. Thoughts?
