Help Xoom not sleeping...

My Xoom was idle for about an hour this morning on my commute to work. Wi-fi off, when I got to work the battery had only gone down 1%, but on the battery use android system was up top and in the details "Keep awake" was over 1hr. Is that a sign the system is not sleeping? What can I do to avoid that?

I had a similar problem, the fix for me was to go back to Verizon and get an exchange but mine had more issues then just that....My replacement works perfect.

I should have noted this is the Wifi model.

What is your screen timeout set to?

I am seeing this same issue on and off. Confirmed by checking the battery status in settings...the device is awake, even through all hours of the night. I've been experimenting, removing Widgets and apps, as well as using the monitoring feature in system panel, but haven't been able to narrow down any solutions. I think the issue is more prominent since the 3.1 update, but that just be my imagination.

At times, it does seem to go to sleep like normal too...

I just noticed in the battery use screen in settings, if you go into android system there's a line called "keep awake......Xd XXh XXm XXs. " almost like there's a setting somewhere telling the system not to go to sleep.

Any thoughts?
