Glad to hear Moto is going "OG Droid" on this device and giving it a more developer like status. If only Verizon and Moto would release another similar phone!

So far this is the only place that I have found the file. Been following discussions over at the Moto forums and it looks like you might be okay if you have rooted the Xoom and still want the 4G upgrade.

Link to any specific info to back that up? I've got the root itch that I really need to scratch!

When goto that download site the zip is called. Is this really and sbf or malware? I have no idea but name is odd. If anyone is brave enough to try it let me know if it checks out as I want it.

The Limitless Droid site just put out the same announcement that is in the Moro owners forum. No I don't have the link now. I am out to breakfast with the family. Go to either of those site until I can post a link.

The AND for the DX was also called the gift.

Downloading now....now that this is out I'll definitely be unlocking my Xoom.

And yeah, it's usually called the GIFT because that's exactly what it is.

Here is the announcement from Android Central about it:

Motorola will upgrade unlocked Xooms with LTE data, no questions asked | Android Central

Still would like to see the news about the SBF file elsewhere (or someone test it for us). Motorola will have to eventually have to release it.

Aww.. file is removed. Looks like I'm too late. Anyone care to spread the love with another upload?

There's still active links in the XDA Developer forum. Just downloaded it and RSD about 20 minutes ago. Good times ahead!
