Help xoom screen flickering ?

I have a shortcut on my home screen for facebook and sometimes when I click on it my screen goes haywire and flickers the home screen and facebookalmost the result of what a bad lcd would do, but this is the only time it happens! Does anyone else have this issue?
If I simply click the home key it stops

Try making a shortcut to a bookmark on your home screen and load it about 5-10 times I am figuring its just a software issue and nothing more! It never occurs any other time :eek:

Update it also tends to happen sometimes with google voice searching, it seems to be browser related.......anyone else seem to have this problem?
 
Yikes! Mine's never done that. My step-sis's Droid was doing that, and she got it replaced by Verizon pretty easily.

Actually I do get a 404 error sometimes when loading this site. Can not pinpoint why, but it will not let me load. If I get a notification via Gmail, and click link there it works 99% of the time. When I do get the 404 error, I can navigate to any other site, including AF, by typing www.androidforums.com, then it shows up but I am not logged in. It usually works after that. Also when this happens I get "error" on the Phandroid App as well.:confused:

I had the speaker noises when I first opened mine, never again though. I was downloading a ton of stuff form the market at that time (like I said - it was when I first opened it). After I had everything installed, I rebooted and it hasn't happened since.

How often is yours making the noises? Have you found any correlating causes?

Not as of yet. Like I said it is infrequent, but paying attention to when and what I am doing when it happens next.
 
Yes that is exactly what mine is doing but it only does it with the default browser and nothing else pressing the home key fixes it every time, and if I use dolphin browser it doesn't happen it all! So it must be a glitch in the default browser
 
Getting both issues, the screen flicker/glitch and the sound. I can only really get it to replicate if I use a bookmark widget to open the browser. The sound however like a short static pop sound is random across a few different programs. I've factory reset mine last Saturday and have been trying to catch it and record it as I have a week left on my return policy at Best Buy. Not sure though if you all are having the same issues if swapping it out will actually fix anything.
