Help Xperia Play doesn't connect to pc?

Hey, allthough I plug my Phone into my pc and says its connected, It comes up saying theres an update available and then doesn't want to do the update?

It says "PC Companion was not able to connect to the phone. Please disconnect and connect again"

I've done this numerous of times and still doesn't work

any ideas?

If you are having no luck with PC Companion, please try using the Update Service instead:
