Help Xperia PLAY Problem

iSwaQ

Lurker
Hello everyone! I've had my Xperia PLAY for half a year now and it has been working perfectly fine until now. I've noticed that when i play the "Xperia PLAY optimized" games i crash a lot. I don't know what it is that is causing this problem. I can get from 10 to 40 minutes until the game crashes. It happens all the time. I'm open to any kind of suggestion so please, if you know anything about this, leave a comment :)

This may be an issue with the memory card itself. How much free memory do you have left on the card?

@Sam-SEanswers

First off, thank you (and your company) for being willing to hop on here and answer any questions we might have regarding your awesome phones. So far, you're the only company I've seen where they actually have a presence on any forum i'm on (I could be wrong tho...)

I'm curious how SE feels about all the talk of rooting and anything else voiding warranty, do you just ignore it? Are you allowed to provide pointers to rooting? When/if we talk about exploits, do they get pointed out to the programming team to look into to patch in new releases? For the R800x, is it Verizon asking SE not to allow us to unlock our bootloaders? (Also, for the R800x, is it Verizon taking their time with upcoming releases, or is it that the R800x in some ways has different/firmware which makes coding for them a pain in the but?)

Thank you for your help, Sam, once again, I appreciate that you and your company have a presence here
-Pax

Hi Pax, I have no problem with people talking about Rooting etc, I just can not provide advice on how to do so. If people wish to go down that path it is their choice and I am not here to stop them. In regards to bootloaders I do not have all of the details as this is a little outside of my area, however I believe it is up to each network as to what kind of customisation is allowed/provided. Thanks for the positive feedback :)

I guess you have installed lots of stuff so there is lack of memory problem which is causing you phone to crash. Uninstall few stuff & then try if it still happens then i guess you need to Flash the phone (Install New Boot) aka FORMAT.
