Those are the ones I used to get xposed on my phone

If im on cm12.1 this is all i have to do? No switcher zip and what not?

No you won't need it to install xpossd but exposed can't do everything. Also you'll need a deodexed version of xposed or you can use blisspop or candy5 as I made them deodexed by default

You have to flash the restore zip I think, before you flash anything

But i see people not flashing switcher nor restore, and i didnt flash either wheni installed cm

Oh, well I always have it switched for system r/w and before I flash anything I flash the restore zip. Rather be safe than sorry kinda thing I guess

This is far more complicated than it should be. Well which switcher and updater zips do i use? there arent any for cm....

What version of cm are you on, rc5? Pretty sure they have switcher and restore zips for every ROM and all versions of cm

Yes rc5, and didnt see any in the op and never had to use them

I've been bouncing through these pages and havn't been able to discern whether or not Xposed is working on CM12.1 RC5 but I'm not seeing anything convincing. From what I've gathered and the links I've followed, i ended up with version SDK22...0716, and when i opened the apk, i ended up with the same photo that master odysues posted a few pages back. Any input here?

if it says only installable through recovery , then u already have it installed dont worry bout what it says

ON cm12 rc5 can i just flash and install without the switchers

All the newest 5.1.1 roms are deodexed. This includes cm12.1 rc5 and all the others

I had the same issue, I went to xposed apk, modules, unchecked amplify, rebooted, went back rechecked it, rebooted, and then it started working. Plus I think I had the switcher zip flashed at that time too, its been awhile so can't remember that one for sure
