I keep downloading the installer but it says there it's an older version. I keep trying to update it but nothing happens

I'm not that well versed when it comes to the exposed modules, but I believe you need to have the frameworks present in the Rom for it to work. Don't quote me there, not 100%.

Are you still on the stock Rom?

Let me look around and see what I can scratch up. :)

Did you install the framework?

By the way - in Venom tweaks, Viper 1.7.1 - go all the way to the right. The Xposed installer link is baked in now. :)

There you go!

I knew I saw it somewhere, couldn't remember. Then work distracted me. Thanks EM.

Are you S-OFF or S-ON? I think I had the same issue while S-ON with the Venom installer. Retried it after S-OFF, no problems.

Not sure if that's normal for Xposed or if maybe the Venom bake doesn't like S-ON.

EM and Granite, I'm curious as always :)

The default for Xposed is to install as a /system app.

The default for /system is set to read-only.

S-off may have allowed you get /system to read-write without noticing it.

Viper originally didn't have Xposed - and Viper didn't originally support /system rw on boot.

Slide over to the Venom Advanced tab - shiny new rw switch. :)
