Root xposed theming!

Okay, so a lot of you may already know this but I had to learn on my own.. I recently discovered that all of the LG G2 xposed tools work flawlessly on our Volt. I personally use 'G2 TweakBox' as its free and it has more features than 'G2 Xposed' I was also able to change the screen density to 190 from 240 with the build.prop editor. I also got rid of the annoying LG Quicktoggles in the notifications panel.

Here are some screenshots of what I've done to my volt.

Looks good. :) I use GravityBox myself. It just got an update that added a couple nice features like lollipop status bar icons and an on status bar download progress bar (white line at top of screen shot... can be placed at the bottom too). I enabled the lollipop icons, but I don't know if it's not working, or if those icons are just the same.

Can't say I know what that is... Where is it located?

BTW... the lollipop icons are working. I just got home and my Wi-Fi indicator is changed.

Another thing with the update, hiding the clock on the Lockscreen works now too. :)

There is an option for that in GB, but it doesn't seem to have any effect. Someone on here modded the icons directly, maybe try to find that thread?

Tried out that status bar volume module, did not work for me either. I have no idea what causes these modules to work or not work from phone to phone, so I'm not going to be of help with trouble shooting.

Hmmmm... I'm guessing it has to do with 'LGsystemui.apk' cause it worked on my aosp moto g before I cracked the LCD

I've never changed the dpi before. 190 makes the screen look bigger, I kinda like it. I also think that's the DPI it's supposed to be for a nearly 5 inch screen.

I use a flashlight mod to use the volume key to activate the light while the screen is off. Why do you change pixel density?

Changing the pixel density makes things appear larger or smaller on the screen. It's similar to changing the resolution on your computer.

I actually went the other of everyone else and bumped mine up to 250. Maybe I'm getting old, but I like having things a tad larger on the screen.

How do u change it manually?
By editing the build.prop file.

I just installed the G3 Tweaksbox to play with and it changes the LTE icon. It also has a status bar volume thing, but I haven't had a chance to play that far yet.

I bumped mine up to 250 too, it's much easier on my eyes. I've been using g3 tweakbox and gravitybox but they conflict sometimes. If you want to change your screen density, it's in build.prop I used Rom Toolbox to access it on my volt.
