Root Xposed?

they say they updated it to work with lp but i havent had the courage to try it yet...especially since i saw it bricked someones phone on xda...that was before they updated it, but im still too paranoid to try it til i hear from others that its working

Yeah, I'm abit paranoid to try it too. Was hoping someone had already & could say for sure if it worked or not

I tried exposed on my lg ms631 after flashing the xposed helper (gets rid of lg smart circle and lg weather) after flashing the xposed zip in twrp once it booted i kept getting com.android.phone has stopped, every 3 seconds. So luckily i was able to get back to recovery and restore my backup.

I found a thread on XDA by rovo saying he hasn't worked on it for 5.1 yet. Should be coming eventually he said. He's currently working on 5.0 but still hasn't worked out all the bugs. It's still in the alpha builds

Since we can't use xposed on our phones (which is killing me btw) does anyone know of there is an app like xuimod that will change your list animation without it?

Not so far. He hasn't worked on it for 5.1.1 yet. He had however just finished doing 5.0.....I believe anyway. Seems a little more complicated to install on lollipop than it had on previous versions of Android.
Should be relentless soon though. .....

Xposed is now working on all lollipop. The exception is that not everything is functional yet and it will only work on armv7 processors. It wont work for us yet.

The chip is 32/64 bit compatible , but LG decided to run it in 32bit mode only which makes it armv7 compatible.

ugh i tried the xposed and now it wont boot...im trying to hold the volume button to get into recovery but its not working? can someone help me boot into recovery? i thought i was supposed to hold the volume button down and then release it at the lg logo, then press it again for a few seconds...is this correct?

edit nevermind figured out how to get back into recovery

So you've tried it and no luck :/

well it said it installed in twrp, but when i rebooted, it stayed on the lg screen for longer than usual...then it finally went to the metro screen but it just stayed there for a long time so i panicked and pulled the battery.

i was able to restore my backup and i thought i read somewhere that i may need busybox installed...even though i thought busybox got installed when i did the one click root, i went ahead and installed it from the playstore to try again.

again it said it installed in twrp, this time i let it stay on the metro screen even longer but it seemed like it was stuck so i restored a backup...do you think i just need to wait longer? also do i really need busybox installed?

im tempted to restore my 5.02 backup and see what happens if i try to install the 5.0 version...
