Root XTR Sense 4.1

That's been my experience as well.
 
I just installed xtrSENSE 4.5. So far so good. I decided to just install over xtrSENSE 4.1. So far no problems.

I'm on 4.1 and pinch zoom worked while i was using the camera, and I just tried it now on the stock browser without a problem.

I don't know many people/reputations here yet, so I apologize in advance if this comes across as a dumb question to you, but did you do a complete wipe (factory and dalvik) before installing?
 
Does anyone know of a way to upload videos to facebook from the sense UI? Pictures give me the option to upload to either Facebook or Facebook for HTC Sense, but videos do not.

*Edit* I need to remind myself to restart my phone BEFORE i post on here and fix a problem on my own.../sigh

*Edit 2* While I now have an option to upload to facebook from the Sense menu, when I have file selected I wish to upload and select either facebook or facebook for sense, I am prompted with thumbs of my pictures and files asking which one i want to upload (which I thought I was just doing) and on top of that, the file which I am clearly looking at, is not included in the thumb list even though it is stored on the SD card in the same folder as all the other pics and vids! This wouldn't be such a problem if not for the anxious grandmother who wants to see video of her 10 month old grandson!
 
I just flashed XTRsense 4.1 after a week with XTRrom and I am surprised just how good this is. I got everything set up with all my apps and I still have 129 MB internal storage without apps2sd.
The best part with these roms is that the phone works! I mean, I was having so much trouble just making a call on Verizons 2.1, the set up time is horrible and I found that anyone that calls me gets through 2 rings before my phone would start ringing. I missed so many calls.
Great job on both XTRrom and XTRsense.
 
Okay, so I am a noob at the Android but have installed many hacks before, have a hackintosh, etc. the question I have is do I use the XTR Sense4.1 as the ROM referred to in this post?

Also, zach says he has incorporated the open source Gscript app, so do I still need Gscript Lite and gscript.zip?

Yes to the first question (unless you want to keep the SenceUI, in which case, you'll want to use XTRSense.

No to the second question. GScript is built in.
