Root xtrROM 4.6 battery

I just reflashed to check to see if the battery lasts longer..made sure to do a wipe data/factory reset! I don't think I did that last time because all of my apps were still installed and google information was saved...so hopefully this time I get a better battery life!

I flashed back to XTRrom 4.0.6.1 (all I had saved on my hard drive) and running launcher pro with all the same CPU settings and widgets that I put on 4.6 and my battery is very happy again.

Not sure why the battery runs down faster on the new 4.6? It's a shame, I really like how launcher pro was built in because it seems to run more stable. I also liked the unlock screen in the new rom :(
That's good to know, I think I will just stay with XTRom 4.1 as it has been working great since I went to it, set my speed at 710 and 245 which seems best...battery is about the same as stock which is fine as I am always always around a charger either at work, car or home, so no big deal....

I installed xtrROM 4.6.5 yesterday and the battery lasted around 35 hours with semi-heavy use.

I have the 1700mah battery.

Hmmm, I tried 4.6.5 for a week and had shorter battery life less than 24 hours with low to moderate use. I think it's because I also had an issue where the phone was trying to sync all the time. I'd go to the menu and hit cancel sync but after a bit the sync symbol would pop back up but non of the google apps would sync.. I turn off all my push features for the apps. Went back to 4.5 and everything is back running smoothly. I get about 2 days of battery life with low to moderate use.

If this happens to you again, there is a way to fix this. If it is your contacts that are loop-syncing, from the home screen, menu->applications->manage applications, go down to contacts storage and tap, and tap on "clear data". (Do the same for calendar storage if it is the calendar that is sync-looping, or gmail storage if it is gmail that is sync-looping.) That should clear the sync loop every time.
