XXKI4 HyperDroid-Androidmeda-v2.9.0 rom

I chanced upon this rom when I noticed the new "The Walking Dead" kernel in the revolution kitchen.HyperDroid-Androidmeda-v2.9.0

I haven't tried it yet so can't say if it's any good, but reading through the thread it's seems to be pretty impressive on performance and battery.

I tried it's predecessor as one of my favourite developers, SicOpat, moved to the team.

However, I wasn't that impressed with it compared to CheckROM and DlevROM. Just looking back on some notes I made about it at the time and I labelled it.. "pedestrian" and "boring".

May give the new one, KI4, a go sometime though.

omg. never thought i'd see the day.......

must agree though, nothing really overly exciting about it to tear me away from checkrom

Agreed syd butty.
I will definitely have a pop at DlevROM's JK? offering when that hits the streets, but can't say i've noticed anything else lately that's worth a dabble.

I finally got around to trying this ROM (well the updated version). Performance wise it seemed as quick and smooth as revolution and the look of the ROM is more customizable as you can make your own themes. However its lacking a few modd which can improve usability. Battery wise its alot better than revo. I managed to get about 10 extra hours at about 35 hours.

Overall it was worth a go but I'm going back to revolution. I might have to keep a nandroid of this though for those times I won't be able to charge my phone for a day.
