Help yahoo email issues

hello, i have had my evo 4g for almost a year and up until a few days ago, my yahoo email quit syncing and or recieving emails. upon refreshing my email, i get a "login failed" error message. after a few attempts, a username/password error then appears.i have removed an recreated my yahoo account on the evo with no luck. its only until i literally log in to yahoo using my desktop, that my email on my android miraculously works. anyone having this issue ??? please advise......
 
I am currently using the stock email account application on the phone. Due to the current yahoo issue, i have downloaded and installed the yahoo email app from the android market. I personally like the stock email capability, not too big on the yahoo email app.
