yahoo email & optonline server

just got my HTC one (M8) and setting up my emails. personal email- hotmail account no problem. work email managed to get incoming emails but cant send emails. the email is a yahoo based account but we are on optonline for our outgoing server. had a similar problem with my thunderbolt but since the phone is now unactivated i can't access that info to check the settings.
any help would be great

still no go. receiving emails ok just can't sent. so far every smtp and port setting i use it tells me it can not connect to my server or can't authenticate my info
 
it's my work email and that is the way the service is set up, not sure why but i did get it to work on my thunderbolt. i should have wrote done the settings but i didn't think i would have this problem again and now i can't get to the settings window since the phone is not activated.
