Help yahoo email push problem on g nex?

Am I doing something wrong? For some reason I have to refresh manually to see new emails and there is never a notification even though I have notifications on?! It should check every hour as set but my yahoo email never comes through without a manual refresh?

Hmm mine works fine, what are your incomming server settings?

do other e-mail accounts work ok? gmail, etc..?

yes thats my setting, its strange. Its been like that since I got it. Just thought it was a bug to fix on the update. Mmmmm, any ideas anyone?

go into settings (on the phone not the email app)

- accounts & sync

does it show up there? (it should) is it on?

if you click on what does it show for "last sync time"?

just a shot in the dark as I like to rule out the most obvious first. In the email app itself, go to settings, click on your acount (xyz@yahoo.com, not the "general" option).

About 1/3 of the way down is "Inbox check frequency" Do you have that set to something other than "never"

Yah its crazy. I have sych off for yahoo mail, but isnt that seperate and has nothing to do with pushing email through, correct? Isnt that just for backing up contacts and crap that I dont care for?
I even changed to check every half an hour in case there is a time bug but no go. I wont get a notification, but itll check and recresh if I open it then show me new email, or I have to refresh manually. Mmmmmm!?

if you turn off yahoo.mail sync where I described that shuts off mail syncing
