Yahoo Mail 1.2 -- Experiences?

I got the update that Yahoo Mail 1.2.1 is available but it specifically says that Galaxy S phones aren't supported. Has anyone installed it to a rooted Capitivate? Experiences?

I haven't yet installed it because I can't get side-loading enabled and I don't want to upgrade if I can't roll back to the prior version. That said, I hate the prior versions of Yahoo Mail because I find them extraordinarily slow. It routinely takes me >30 seconds for email body text to appear when I open a message.

my yahoo mail is synced through k9 mail and that works fine, ive never tried the official yahoo mail app

Installed on my Captivate without difficulty and seems to be operating faster overall.

I hate Yahoo apps. They run so slow and crash a lot for me. I used to use Yahoo Mail and I still use Fantasy Football. Now I stick with yahoo mail on the browser, but FF still crashes on me.

Like the facebook, fantasy football apps, it's a piece of crap!! Slow and crashes a lot.

Agreed. The FF app should be outlawed. And the Yahoo Mail app is 10x worse than just accessing thru the browser! I just set my homepage to my Yahoo mail account and check it that way.

yeah, i just use the browser to access my yahoo mail.
