Help Yahoo Mail Classic

Is anybody else having an issue with getting to the Yahoo mail classic page on their Inc. For me when I go to yahoo, I use the Mail link on the top of the yahoo page. It then takes you to a screen that ask you to either download the yahoo app for android or use yahoo mail classic. I always select use yahoo mail classic, but for some reason when I select that today it just refreshes that page and asks me again.
 
I just signed up to post the same thing. I go to yahoo.com, click on mail, sign in, and it takes me to the screen asking if I'd like to download the yahoo app or use the classic mail just like it is for you. And it just refreshes the page as well. I have cleared my history and the cache, rebooted, still not working.

The only thing I've added to my phone recently was the dolphin browser. I disabled that and went back to the default web browser, but still have the issue.

***Just noticed what forum this was listed in. I did a search and found this post. My phone is an HTC Evo 4g (Sprint)....not the Incredible. At least we know it's not phone specific now.

OK... Perfect.... Ya, the only way to get my mail was to download the yahoo app or setup the stock mail app. Neither of which I ever really cared for. My Yahoo account is my "internet" account, so it gets a lot of spam. Don't like my phone going off everytime a get a yahoo mail. I know I can turn the notification sound down, just prefer the Yahoo Classic Site.. I also tried the same things you did.
 
Hi sdrawkcab25....thanks, that did work. However it is very cumbersome using the browser like that. Hopefully we can find a solution for the mobile mode. But thanks again, at least I was able to check my email.
 
I'm not sure what's going on with mine either (HTC Evo) but I did click on 'settings' then 'mobile view' and turned the mobile view off and now it works. It doesn't look exactly the same as it did before but it seems to work as a temporary fix. I had the same problem with not being able to view mail by clicking on the "yahoo mail classic'. Good luck.
 
Starting today I was no longer able to log into yahoo classic mail, no matter how many times I tried it took me back to the same page, that offered to down load the yahoo mail app, which I already use but for a different account. I was able to go to settings and not use the 'Mobile' page but it not as easy to use.

I was able to use the app to add the account, but I required a level of security that the app dose not have, much rather had a web based email, that I can log into and out of, I may have to move my yahoo accounts to forward to hotmail, which I can still use on my android.

It seems that Yahoo/Google/ is requiring use of the app, which I don't want, and this started just today Tuesday Dec 11
 
just and FYI, I was able to get back to Yahoo Mail Classic again today. Seems to be working again, maybe it was just something with yahoo's mail servers. But it is working again.
