Help Yahoo Mail notifications count won't reset

running 2.1 update 1 and as new Yahoo Mail arrives, the count given in notifications continues to grow. It used to re-set to zero once I checked the mail in the Yahoo Mail app, but now it just keeps climbing. Any idea how to get it to re-set again?
 
Didn't work. Count still rising as new emails come in. Yesterday I re-booted the phone and was able to get it to reset but I hate to do that every day.
 
Welcome to the forums, Colio. Before I help, are you using the stock mail app that is linked to your Yahoo account, or are you using the Yahoo Mail App from the market?
 
Hey scottmbolt, thanks for the reply. I'm using the Yahoo Mail App from the market, version 1.3.0.4536.
 
I see. I recently uninstalled that app, because I found it to be a lot slower and less user friendly than the stock mail app, so unfortunately I wont be able to help you :(

Coolio - Clear data/Cache from the app in the method I decribed earlier....
You may have to resign in though
 
hmmm - other option would be to delete the app and install it.
You won't lose anything as its stored on Yahoo's servers.
