Help Yahoo Mail stops working on N4, what's up?

Hi,

On my N4, I have 2 email accounts running on the stock email app, Yahoo and my company email. Every couple of days, the Yahoo mail stops working. I get an "unable to login" error message, even with a strong signal. The company email keeps working with no problem. Turning the phone off and then back on does not help. Deleting the account and reinstalling does not help. Eventually the problem goes away by itself and the Yahoo mail starts working again. The problem usually surfaces when connected only via my cell network (T-Mobile). I don't think it occurs when the phone is on wi-fi. It was suggested to download the Yahoo app and move the Yahoo mail there, but if possible I'd prefer to keep both accounts together on the stock app.

Any thoughts on why this is happening and any fix?

I also have found yahoo to be quite funky using the stock e-mail app. I don't think it's yahoo, I think it's the app as well. You could move to the yahoo app, or download another 3rd party client like touchdown to manage them all.
 
You might want to try signing into Yahoo Webmail & say Yes to the New Yahoo & check settings...couldn't hurt.
 
I've seen issues with Yahoo and email apps on various devices all over the forums, the best solution seems to be using the app as jhawkkw has suggested.
