Help Yahoomail & yahoo messenger

Has anyone tried downloading yahoomail app so that u can get email notifications directly to your Optimus from yahoomail? If yes, have u tried yahoo messenger app as well? I'm curious to know if the yahoomail & yahoo messenger are reliable apps for the Optimus.

For IMs, I use Trillian instead, because when I exit Trillian it actually exits. Yahoo Messenger wanted to always stay running in the background.

I use yahoo mail on the optimus and it works great. Theres a notification sound and you can see the email link info pop up in the menu bar for a moment. I've linked accounts to forward email to yahoo and everything works smoothly. I definitely reccomend using it if you have a yahoo mail account.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Guess I could always use yahoo messenger from the web. I tried Trillion but couldn't figure out how to add contact.

I use ebuddy very simple nice UI. Been using it since my Palm Centro. Covers all im even Facebook. The mobile site for Yahoo mail works better than the app.

Yeah, Trillian is kind of odd to set up. You have to make a Trillian account first, and then link your other IM accounts into it.
