Yet Another Intro Thread...
Let's see... well, here's my "phone" history. Used to be a Nextel junkie until Sprint swiped them up (i1000 anyone?) and ran with a Treo 700p for a while. Jumped up to my first WinMo phone in the form of the Treo 800w.
After almost a decade with Sprint/Nextel, I decided to jump ship and give AT&T a try with their Fuze/Touch Pro. Became a regular on XDA, with all of their custom-rom goodness. But AT&T's network is absolutely horrid in the Chicagoland area so after less than a year there, I came back to Sprint and got a pair of Pre's for myself and my girlfriend.
I've been moderately satisfied with the Pre but when the HTC Evo was announced, I knew I'd found my next phone. Since I use data heavily, and WiMax is available in most of the Chicagoland area, I knew I'd found my next phone.
So here I am... another PreCentral.net transplant.
