I use the stock ROM because I don't like too many glitches, like the camera not working.
I went from the Motorola Droid [OG] to the Dinc. I had a titanium backup of the Droid and used it to install the apps and data. This is perfectly normal.
But when I restarted, what I ran into was "low memory" notifications even though I had way more RAM and internal memory than I had before.
It took a long time to find the solution and I don't understand why the moderators don't make this link more prominent.

That link only tells you how to root, as does the one I put in, not how to fix the low memory problem. You have to read down, past the rooting procedure to get to the fix.
The fix starts at step 10.
