Yay new to me incredible

40 dollars I'm with it. I lost my phone two days ago bought the dinc to replace it I have the evo 4g so I expect this to be similar. Either way here I am and will be rooting once it arrives.
 
I use the stock ROM because I don't like too many glitches, like the camera not working.

I went from the Motorola Droid [OG] to the Dinc. I had a titanium backup of the Droid and used it to install the apps and data. This is perfectly normal.

But when I restarted, what I ran into was "low memory" notifications even though I had way more RAM and internal memory than I had before.

It took a long time to find the solution and I don't understand why the moderators don't make this link more prominent.

Rather, they have a sticky that goes on for pages with no resolution that I could find.

Another common problem I ran into was rebooting at 2 AM every morning. If yours starts doing that, then one night remove the SD card and put it back in around 6AM or later. This is another one that should be in a FAQ somewhere.

Even though this phone has a ton of memory, it is still not a bad idea to use the link2SD. It got a lot of complaints a few years ago, but it seems that all the bugs have been worked out. It will keep your phone nice and fast, but it will also make starting a slow process.

And don't forget to make Nandroid backups. Every once in a while, my WiFi access list disappears and it won't connect to WiFi anymore. Searching the web, the only fix you will find is to do a factory reset. That's awful since it takes a long time to get back to where you were.

If you have a Nandroid backup (which I think I got from Rom Manager free version-- Clockwork Mod) then you can use the advanced restore to restore only the System, not the whole thing. WiFi comes right back when you do that. Yet another tip that should be in a FAQ.

It came today Awesome! I was going to root it right away but upon close inspection I found the headphone jack was loose so I bought another and am returning this one for a full refund including return shipping so by the time my 32 gb sd card gets here the dinc should be here also.

But wow I was really impressed by the small form factor just a smart nice phone can't wait to actually get into it and get off the sidelines
