Well,

I walked into RadioShack today because I was bored and I asked the manager if he could look up in the system if they had a date for TB sales.

Suprisingly enough the system had an official sell date if the 28th of this month. He let me see the screen and there it was - HTC Thunderbolt : 3/28/11.

Unfortunately he said no to a picture, but just thought some of you who still have hope for this device might find it interesting.

Living in South Carolina can be boring at times. I mean I wasnt aimlessly walking in stores - I was just looking for something to entertain me until dinner :D

And RadioShack sells phones just like Best Buy does....

We have the TB exclusively. Perhaps we have it until the 28th but Radio Shack won't have it launch day so that may be when they are allowed to sell it.

So much for BB being the exclusive retailer?
Another kick to the BB balls by Verizon?
I don't understand why/how Radio Shack could carry these phones.

I can't either which is why im skeptical. I doubt BB would pay so much money to get the phone for a few days.

Radio Shack won't be selling the phone because Best Buy is the RETAIL EXCLUSIVE PARTNER for it...that means, no Radio Shack, No Wal-Mart, no Costco...

Don't shoot the messenger lol - I dont know why its in their system but it without a doubt is. That or I have dyslexia. I'm pretty sure its the former.

^^^i think you are right. If radio shack has it for the 28th it should be available at vzw and bb before then. :)

Jay,
does the same hold true for Exclusive Verizon only retailers, like Wireless Zone?

Or is it only multibranded retailers like Costco, Sams, walmart, etc?

Only multi brand dealers. Verizon Authorized dealers get it the same as the corporate stores, the difference is they are independently owned.

Only multibrand stores. The Authorized Verizon Dealers are just like the corporate stores but they are independently owned. Wireless Zone is a huge franchize, they are all over the place. If bestbuy has exclusive rights it wont be for very long, kind of like an exclusive game that comes out on XBOX 360 for a few weeks, then comes to PS3. Not a Hugh deal unless you've been waiting for a long long time!

Like since Dec2010...yea alot of people will not wait, and will flood BB and vzw's corporate stores.
