My new x came in last night. How do I check to see what version of software came with it or are you pretty sure no Froyo yet? Also I can not get my itunes (agent) to reconize...I am a newphite comming from a BB storm.

From homescreen: Settings>About Phone to check what version of Android you're running.
For iTunes: It doesn't sync to the Droid X but you can download Doubletwist to your mac/PC. Then connect your DX via USB mass storage (or PC mode...I'm not sure cause I did this on a mac) and Doubletwist will sync your iTunes library and/or specific playlists to the DX
