Yes, the 32GB SanDisk micro SD card *DOES* work with the Droid

Sometimes being rude is the only way to make a point. You have to admit, in reflection, that it was an inherently meaningless question. The title of post answers your question, I had posted an answer to your question earlier that day... you litterally ignored every single answer... maybe "being rude" was the only way you might of understood what every body else seem to just naturally get... cause, you know, most people understand that when someone posts "Yes, the 32GB SanDisk micro SD card *DOES* work with the Droid" as the title we take it for granted that it... umm... works. When you ask if it does.... what else is ANYONE to think? Maybe you don't speak common english? Maybe the 2 pages of polite conversation about how the 32gb card is compatible with the Droid was confusing to you? I think you understand now, after I took the social RISK of being rude to you, that "Yes, the 32GB SanDisk micro SD card *DOES* work with the Droid"... personally, I think you should thank me.. but you won't. You'll feel slighted again and call me names... maybe throw a few "Yo Momma" jokes at me... but at the end of the day... you will never forget one thing... "Yes, the 32GB SanDisk micro SD card *DOES* work with the Droid"!!!!!!!
So it does work, right? -I just wanna be sure.

Nope. No longer works... Verizon sent a signal to all the Droid phones to scan the owners alpha brain patterns. When the phone detected that people were asleep, it applied an OTA patch which reconfigured the hardware and software to render any sd card over 16gb incompatible with the Droid. What worries me is that the OTA patch does not ask for permission to install... and then there's the part where the Droid can scan my brain patterns... bit concerned about that... only way I discovered this out was by wearing my tin foil hat and it tricked the phone. It thought I was asleep and applied the patch. Luckly, I'm rooted. I preformed a restore of a backup and skipped the activation. :D Back to full functionality of my 32gb card. I can't make calls... but then.. the CIA tracks my calls so I'm not overtly worried about that.

Bottom line? The Droid is compatible with the 32gb card only if you A. Never fall asleep B. Have a backup of the configuration of your phone or C. Ignore everything posted on a chat board and just pick one up.

Question is... are you really going to chance it?

Maybe because our phones need MICRO SDHC cards and these are full-size SDHC cards... Sorry to burst your bubble.

LOL

anyways, is the $99.99 price only good online? i know i get a company discount on all accessories but i am not sure how that works online.

I ordered a 32 GB sandisk card from Amazon on June 30 and it looked good. Loaded a bunch of stuff on it and started getting errors every time I mount the card.
Then went back and looked at Amazon and saw the bad reviews from their individual seller (they had no feedback at all when I ordered).

From Ebay I would have been more cautious but I felt safe buying from an Amazon seller.
Oh well. going through the refund fight now and ordered a card from Verizon today

D'ohhh my bad.. :o

I made the bad assumption, without reading close, that it had a micro card in it and the SD adaptor wrapped around it so you could just toss the SD adaptor.

sorry
