Help Yet another battery thread

Alright so I'm starting to think I must have a bad battery or maybe there is some app that is eating away my battery. Or maybe it's normal and I'm just being paranoid.

Anyway, I unplugged my phone at around 8:40 this morning. By 11:05 it was down to 70 percent. I suppose if I was using it heavily that wouldn't be too bad, but I listened to music for maybe about 20 minutes and read news for about another 20 with some texting thrown in there. The rest of my time it was sitting in my pocket. By 4:00 it was down to 20 percent and Battery left said I had another hour of life. Maybe texting takes way more battery than I thought but at this rate there is no way my phone will make it past 5 or 6 without needing to charge.

I should also mention I'm using LPP on Apex 1.4

I highly recommend overclocking/undervolting

I've gone from charging every day to every other day, and I have double your usage (roughly) (daily avg is 50 texts, 20 emails, 1.5 hour of music over bluetooth, couple hours of web browsing over wifi)

I think Apex is already overclocked.. I'm not sure about undervolting or how to do it.
Anyway I'm just wondering if this is abnormal battery life. I do probably send about 100 or more texts a day.

I know, I have checked in all of the things like that and have watchdog installed. As far as I can tell no app is hogging too much of my cpu, so I'm not really sure what the problem is.

It seems from what I've read that people are getting much better battery life than me, so mostly I'm just trying to find other people with similar battery life or to see if there actually is something wrong.

I kind of have the same issus as you. If flash a new rom I get around 18 hours with medium use for about a week. Then it slowly goes down to where I get around 10 if I'm lucky. I tried undervolting and I run spareparts and it shows nothing abnormal. I'm using the extended battery running Liberty 1.5. I had the same issue with Apex and stock roms.

As far as signal goes I don't really pay attention but I know Verizon is really good where I'm at. I'm almost to the point of just getting used to charging twice a day.

As far as I know my signal should be good where I am. When I first got my phone it wasn't this bad either.
I've heard that letting it completely die and then charging while it's off helps. Anyone know?

I am in the same boat as you I think, except for the clocking, volting things! No rooting or anything like that on my phone. Phone is a few months old, in the beginning I would get a few days, but recently I am only getting about 14 or 15 hours. I have spare parts installed and nothing really out of the ordinary. I am going to install watchdog and see what I get there.
