Root YIKES...bricked?

Ok so this is what I did from the wonderful guys over at XD. lol. I got odin3, I copied the sdcard patch by kejar31 to my sd root. I opened Odin3 and clicked pda and chose the file, EE4Xvodo_DXC.TAR and it started running, then stopped and said completed0/failed1. and then I pulled battery and turned on and now all i get is a yellow phone-triangle!-computer, where did I go wrong?

:( I feel ya brother....I feel ya.
Today I soft-bricked my phone which led me to soft brick in my pants, but I fixed it and hopefully you will too with these helpful methods....

Just like in my favorite show in the world, Doctor Who, we're gonna have to travel back in time to ED1. I tried many things and at best they left phone half crippled. This brought it back to health.
Droid Charge Full Factory Tar, and Flashing Software

The Samsung PST Lite zip (z7 to be exact, get WinRar to open it) contains zips within zips. Unzip everything, with the exception of your pants...unless you're alone.
Go into the "USB Drivers" folder and install the "VIA" drivers. If your computer keeps giving you a security warning, keep pressing "install anyway" until it's done. It may happen A LOT, but keep doing it. Then install the Samsung drivers if you don't already have them....if you're not sure, try to install them anyway...if it says they're already installed then hit "NO" or cancel or whatever the **** it says.

NOW...go to the PST DLL folder (remember, UNZIP EVERYTHING) and then click on the blue Installshied icon to install the program.

Here's EXACTLY what I did. A lot of these posters leave out some commonly known (amongst those who know) little steps. I am a moron when it comes to this, so I will give moron-proof steps (not saying that you're a moron).

Take out your battery...take out your SD Card....take out your LTE Sim card. Wipe that single tear that happens to well up while looking at your phone in intensive care, and BUCK UP and get to work.

Take your little micro USB cable, plug it into your computer and then into your phone. Hold the "volume button" down until a yellow triangle appears with a little yellow Android guy (I think he's digging with a shovel) telling you that you're in "Download Mode" and don't disconnect the target. Let go of the volume button and put the battery back in.
Now follow steps 8 - 16 from this guy...he's got a couple of pictures too.

That should be it there, sizzle chest.
It was quite the learning experience.

So this is where I'm at now in my rooting process...I have tried link after link after link, and the information is really good, I just can't seem to put the finishing touches on completing the rooting process. I have so many things downloaded. I have Superoneclick 1.9.5 with drivers, sd kejar sd card patch, odin3 v1.3, new_cwm_recovery.tar.md5, gummycharged, gingersnapv1.2.1, gingerbreak, ee4dxvodo_dxc.tar, the charge system dump, ed1 stock, 0602_charge_voodoo. So right now I'm trying superoneclick, I open it, choose the exploit to be gingerbreak then click ROOT, it says checking drivers, the command prompts pop up and it says getting os version 2.2.1, OK, 2.2.1 PUSHING GINGERBREAK, OK, chmod gingerbreak, OK, running gingerbreak...AND then nothing happens. So that's 1 way I'm trying to get this rooted. The other way is through odin, but I'm just really starting to get confused, not sure where to turn now, please help, I'm going to bed now bc I work tmrw morning, but as soon as I get lunch tmrw I'll hop back on here and see if anyone has given me any help, thanks in advance.
