Wow, just as I said in the screen protector thread.... shocking.

Phones been naked since the 27th and I haven't babied it, still perfect. I even threw my keys in the pocket with this phone, nothing scratched.
 
Interesting. I had emailed HTC asking if the screen on the Incredible is scratch-resistant, the first CSR said that they didn't know if it was or not (I thought it was an odd response) so I replied to the ticket and asked if they could possibly give a more definitive answer. The second CSR said that it wasn't scratch resistant.

Either way, get a screen protector; they aren't all that expensive and are more easily replaceable :).
 
My right pocket is strictly for my phone, therefore I am not concerned about it being in the pocket.
However, it being dropped would suck.
 
The scratches just don't show up in low res web video with the screen on.

Turn the screen off and take a decent photo with a SLR at a 45 degree angle to the screen, and then it will look like a haystack.
