"your battery is low.." Warning message

This may be a stupid question, but can you turn off the "your battery is low" message? other than turning the whole phone on silent.

It is rather annoying especialy as it runs low quite often and warns you at 20%

Any help appreciated

I haven't got my phone on me, but there if you go to Menu -> Settings and half way through that menu you have something like Power Option or something. In here you can disable power saving mode

However at 15% it will warn you about your phone running out and prompt you to put in a charger, but it won't go into power save mode if the above settings are unchecked

I have tried this but it seems to have no effect on the spoken warning message?
