Accessories Your choice for Screen protector?

Hi Folks,

Been using you guys for info on my new HTC Desire HD.

One thing that has upset me greatly is the abundance of Iphone screen protectors in store vs. everything else. In store I have all of two options and both of them are a single protector only, prices range from 19.99-34.99. Let's just say I bought one of each, the cheaper one didn't really fit right and has already started to lift on the corners, the other one is just too much work..

So I've basically spent 60 dollars on two covers already. I've heard about protectors on ebay and such...

Where do you get your screen protectors from?

(I should also note I have some cheap ones coming from Amazon just to get me through until i find a good source)
 
I just use the one that came with my Otterbox Commuter. It's a magnet for dust and grease, but it's pretty durable (or I'm just very careful).

Steinheil have a pretty good rep and if I ever need to replace, I'll probably go for them.
 
I use 60c ones I bought off ebay. They're probably just as good as the $20 ones you get in store. No scratches (not that I can see anyway), and no peeled edges on the corners. You just have to make sure that you put the screen protector on the right way, since the corners of the top and bottom of the screen are slightly different - the top corners are a bit sharper than the bottom corners... otherwise they peel easier.

Getting HTC Desire HD Skin though for full body protection. Apparently they have 'self healing' properties if you look at the FAQ.
 
I use the otterbox one too and did find out (the hard way) that the corners are slightly different as Marsr says. No peeling as yet but yes it does seem to get dirty quickly.. but then my screen did too.

The only thing is that you can't see through it in bright sunlight though...not much of a problem in Ireland though :D
 
I've spent $20 on a screen protector now and it sucked. It was supposed to be scratch resistant but it is the only one i've had with the most scratches on it. I still think the otterbox one is the best.
