your daily driver

I have an LG G2, but i put the sim card into my N5. I don't use the LG G2 anymore, and will sell it when my contract is up.:p

I do, and had no desire to upgrade to n6 as my n5 is still amazing. I did however purchase an N9 but I really only use it at home and have started playing most of my games on that. But n5 is still my "edc" device. :) also, the best phone I've owned.
 
I'm definitely still using my N5 as my DD. For at least another month or two.
I have to upgrade my wife's phone without question and also within that time frame. Her's is slowly degrading and beginning to try her patience. :p
So for me my options are, either purchase another N5 (quite possible)) or I'll buy the N6 for myself (I have large hands and a 6" device fits well in my hands) and pass the N5 to my wife.
Such a tough decision to make!:rolleyes: I'd like to stay in the Nexus line and a Nexus made by Motorola! :cool:
The N5 though has by far been the best phone I've ever owed, hands down!
I love it, it's fast, smooth, well built, tons of great development and has been the most fun and easiest phones I've ever owned and played around with! (Besides the HD2, also a fun and cool phone!)

Now if I could just make up my mind as to which one to get next... Life would be so much easier. Lol (I'm leaning towards the N6 though, it's just the high price point that's really holding me back from immediately buying it without a doubt)

No, I have 6 android phones and a WP7.8
I haven't used a single one for service since getting my N5, but I have kept them all upgraded or flashed the most current and better ROM's on them.

I was using my N5 as my daily driver - till I got my N6. My N5 went to my S.O. who was using an HTC EVO LTE device on Sprint. I had switched over to T-Mo from Sprint, but couldn't switch the other line over till I could replace the HTC device (CDMA only). Got the N6 and switched over the other line to T-Mo too with the N5.

Absolutely love both the devices. Both work perfectly - protected with tempered glass protectors, so no visible scratches on either (though I suspect the N5 will likely end up with some scratches soon, now that it is not in my hands anymore! lol! I kid! I kid!!! well, I think! ;) )
 
N5 is definitely my daily driver and, much as I would love an N6 can't justify the upgrade when my N5 is still so fantastic. What surprises me is that, while I'd love an N6, I'm not feeling the usual device envy from not being able to get one. :D
 
Still using (and loving) my N4 as an EDC. I sometimes play with my N7 (2013) at night, but my trusty N4 is definitely the primary. No immediate desire to upgrade... I'm just really hoping that the Nexus 7 (Phone, 2015) goes back to a 5-ish inch display :D
 
I was still using a Nexus 4 and would have for another year or two, but I gave my wife a Nexus 6. So her Nexus 5 got recycled to me and the N4 has become an emergency spare.

The N6 is a terrific phone but just too big for my jeans pockets. Too bad...a killer phone.

We also have 2012 and 2013 N7s around the house. Lotsa Nexii...
 
N6 since just about the day it arrived. No looking back, no regrets.

That said I have a serious Android addiction. Just took Barnes & Noble up on the nook trade it and turned in my old Nook Color for a new Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 Nook, which makes my desk look like a Carrier's Showroom. Right now, sitting in front of me is the Galaxy Nook, A Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), a Nexus 6, a Nexus 4, a Galaxy SII, a ... wait for it ... Captivate running 4.4 and a Moto 360.
 
I've been using the Nexus 5 as my daily driver for the past 6/7 months. Never let me down once. I bought an external portable power bank so I can charge it in case I'm out for a while and using the phone heavily.

I come from a Galaxy S3, so for me this phone has been a great purchase. The S3 had so many issues, performance and hardware-wise. I'm glad I left Samsung. Stock android is much cleaner and faster, and with a custom ROM you can get most of the features stock lacks.
 
I ask this question because for the most part it's a great device. The flaw is there is a signal issue almost as has as the gnex had. It will just drop a signal. Rarely goes to lte and at times will not even send a text message. Its too late to rma. My nexus 7 Lte will hold a signal where the n5 is very unstable.
I've flashed new radios and no dice. Its almost useless at times. Not sure if I want to try the nexus 6

After a bit more research it may be more my network and the phone and a pretty much dead zone. Still confused why my nexus 7 don't have the issues? Its on at&t also

I don't own another phone so yeah, my n5 is my daily.

I really wanted to upgrade to the n6 but the price was just too high for me to justify when the n5 is still such a great device.
 
N5 for personal and Blackberry Z10 for work (not my choice). I'm not enjoying my N5 as much as I used to though, the launcher keeps having to reload, I get graphical errors in some apps and the battery life has decreased significantly - all since 5.0 and 5.0.1 update.
The Z10 is the worst mobile experience I've ever had - and that includes the old Samsung calculator phone.
 
OK, so I completely broke down and bought a brand new shinny Midnight Blue, Motorola Nexus 6 today! :rolleyes: I must admit.... I absolutely love it! :D This device is absolutely amazing and I find it alot easier to tyoe on the keyboard than the N5. Believe it or not.... It's actually very easy to use one handed also, the power and volume buttons placement is in just the right spot and reaching for the notification/status bar is actually quite easy also.
I was quite nervous and on the fence about replacing my N5 with the N6, (or replacing my N5 at all for that matter period) but all those concerns were put to rest once I stated using the N6. I'll admit I do have somewhat of large hands so the N6 fits in my hands pretty well.
Anyway the N6 runs great and is supper fast even compared to the N5. So far my cellular signal also seems to better that the N5... I get reception in places that I would never get with my N5.
I still have my N5 and will probably keep it for sometime... Unless I decide to sell it while the price is still at a decent high price and has zero damage to it. Originally I was going to pass my N5 down to my wife but once she seen my N6 she was in love and now she wants a phone the size of my N6 or comparable...lol at any rate if your on the fence about the N6... Do it!!:p also the sound quality is awesome and is very loud, especially compared to the N5.
Motorola has always maked excellent devices and the N6 is no exception.
Anyone else upgrade to the N6 and loving it as much as I do?

Every time i tried to hold it with one hand(at the AT&T store), i dropped it. Good thing it had the security cord attached. IMHO, it's just too wide. I'll take the LG G3, thank you.:p

Lol... Yeah good thing it had the tether cord attached to the device. I admit, I was looking at the G3 also (really nice device) and it does seem slimmer in width, but I love my Nexus devices and I got a great deal on the N6 so it was hard to pass up. Plus after my last 3 LG devices excluding the N5, I decided that I wouldn't purchase another LG device again (personal preference) nothing to do with the G3 as it is a great device and everyone I know that has one loves it. Hope that you enjoy the G3 as much as I do my N6!
 
I ordered my N5 the day it became available and it has been my daily driver ever since. I expect I will keep it at least another year, if not longer. I've never gotten a new phone in less that 2 years, and now that I'm contract-free on Cricket with this phone, I'm going to ride it as long as I can. The N6 is bigger than I want, and the N5 is about as big a phone as I can hold comfortably. The only real complaint I've had about this phone is the sound quality out of the speaker, but I can live with it. I was pumped to hear Motorola was doing the N6 (every Moto I've had has been outstanding), but the size is just too much for me.

I have the N5 and the G2. Both are great devices, but the N6 just turned me off. The "pure android" experience just isn't worth the chance of me dropping the phone.:eek:
 
I still use my Nexus 5 as my daily driver. I'm holding my breath that there will be a HTC One M9 GPE edition because I hate OEM skins the Nexus 6 is just too large for me. I admin, I have small hands which is why the Nexus 6 puts me off. The Nexus 5 is just a touch bigger than I would like, but it is tolerable. If there is no HTC One M9 GPE, I will likely be waiting until the 7th generation Nexus phone for an upgrade.

M9 will likely be 5.5", which seemingly is already outside of your comfort zone.
