Root "your device isin't compatible with this item"

OK,

so i try to download something on the market. palmary weather, swiftkey keyboard, ect ect. i get this message constantly. i just cleared market data, and for just a second saw the purchase key, then it dissapeared and said the message.

i am running gingersteem extreme latest version. please help!

I checked lcd density it was at 220. i moved it to 240 and will try again.

yay it fixed it. i dont know how the density was changed to 220, but it was. i never touched it.
now i can download things again

You can go to Amazon app market and download the stuff and it won't give you that message.

Others are getting this problem too this ROM. You are not the only one. Over at Howard Forums a guy running gingersteem 1.5 with plague 2.2 complained about this:

Yeah. Need to clear cache and data in market app management . The ROM comes with 220 set already.

how do you change the density?
 
i cleared data and cache and changed the lcd density and im still getting your device isn't compatible with this item

Did you change the density from 220 to 240 and then REBOOT? remember you need to reboot your phone and then clear data and cache of market.apk
